Amber Fort (Amer Fort)

Located about 11 km from Jaipur, Amber Fort is one of the most iconic forts in India. Built using red sandstone and marble, the fort is a beautiful example of Rajput architecture mixed with Mughal influences. It overlooks Maota Lake and offers a stunning view of the surroundings. Visitors can explore grand courtyards, palaces, and the mesmerizing Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace), where thousands of mirrors adorn the walls. Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds)

Built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, Hawa Mahal is a five-storey palace made from pink and red sandstone. Its honeycomb structure with 953 small windows (jharokhas) was designed so that the royal women could observe the festivities on the street without being seen by the public. The palace stands tall on the edge of the City Palace and is best admired for its façade. Early morning sunlight enhances the beauty of this iconic structure.

City Palace

Located in the heart of Jaipur, the City Palace is a vast complex of courtyards, gardens, and buildings. It has a blend of Mughal and Rajasthani architecture. The royal family of Jaipur still resides in a part of the palace. The palace houses several museums that display the royal armory, textiles, and art collections. Some must-visit sections include the Mubarak Mahal, Chandra Mahal, and the Diwan-i-Khas.

Nahargarh Fort

Perched on the Aravalli hills, Nahargarh Fort offers a panoramic view of Jaipur city. The fort, originally built as a retreat, also has a strong defense structure. It is a popular spot for tourists, especially for watching sunsets. Nahargarh Fort is connected to Jaigarh Fort, and together they served as a defense ring for the city.

Jal Mahal (Water Palace)

Situated in the middle of Man Sagar Lake, Jal Mahal appears to float on water. Albert Hall Museum

Located in Ram Niwas Garden, Albert Hall Museum is the oldest museum in Rajasthan.
